Apostleship Junior perceives his calling to be apostolic. He is deeply convicted that the future of American and global Christianity will be decided by the quality of emerging leadership in this generation. Therefore, he executes an apostolic ministry by identifying, developing, and commissioning capable spiritual leaders of all types. Junior also executes this ministry by assessing churches and ministries, and providing guidance that will structure, construct, arrange, organize, and develop.
Prophecy Junior perceives his calling to be prophetic. He prizes Scripture as the final authority and measuring line for all so-called revelations and prophetic phenomena. Within that framework, he believes in and seeks to practice healthy prophetic ministry. While Scripture reveals God's general will, the Spirit reveals God's situational will. And, one of the numerous ways He does so is through prophetic communication. Junior executes prophetic ministry in situations, settings, and seasons in which he perceives the Spirit desiring to communicate immediately.
Teaching & Preaching Junior perceives his calling to be a teacher. He studies Scripture and related material close to five hours a day, sometimes exceeding even that. He immerses himself in reading, studying, and learning. He is convinced church leaders need to be biblical experts and intellectual giants, responsibly interpreting Scripture, communicating it clearly, and applying it relevantly. Junior executes a teaching ministry through national and international speaking engagements/tours, literature publications, websites, email newsletters, and media engagements.
Counseling Junior perceives his calling to be a counselor. He enjoys delving deeply in another's life, even opening up his own. He uses all resources available, natural and supernatural, to help Christians find spiritual fullness, emotional freedom, mental perspective, physical wellness, relational fulfillment, vocational destiny, and financial capability. He executes his counseling ministry primarily with leaders he is developing, though he is sensitive to moving outside this norm if necessary.
Physical Health Junior perceives his calling to be a health and fitness coach. He believes fully in and practices divine healing. However, his desire is to see Christians take ownership of their body, the temple of God, and care for it with excellence. He states that many Christians are not enjoying supernatural health--not because God is unwilling to heal miraculously today or because of deficient faith--but rather because He is placing the burden of responsibility on the Christian to manage their body with greater respect, excellence, and maturity. Junior executes a fitness ministry through personal training and educating Christians on physical management.
